Character Description Quiz

Time for something a little different for this month’s post! I gathered together descriptions of fictional versions of Leopold-Loeb characters from more than a dozen fictional books and plays, and your goal is simple: decide if the description is of a Leopold inspired character or a Loeb inspired one. You don’t need to have read any of the fiction to give it a try, in fact it might be more fun if you haven’t!

If you’re interested, you can take the quiz here.

After you take the quiz (or before, if you enjoy cheating) you can check the correct answers and which book/play the descriptions come from here.

Oh, and note that the fiction covers a wide range, so sometimes the characters are very young, sometimes much older, and for two of the descriptions they’re from a genderbent version where Leopold and Loeb are both women.

The highest score so far has ben 25 out of 30 correct, see if you can beat it!

I originally pulled descriptions for all the people I could find, including Bobby characters, all members of the families, lawyers, friends, girlfriends, etc. But my play-testers found it basically impossible to complete. Especially for the father, lawyer and psychiatrist characters, they all really blended together.

Best of luck if you take the challenge!
